This unique and exciting photo tour consists Omo Valley and the wonderful Ethiopian Epiphany Celebration called Timket. Visiting the Christian north of the country Lalibela for Ethiopian colorful celebration Epiphany/Timket and the Rock hewn churches of Lalibela, you will get to photograph the wonderful Ethiopian Epiphany Celebration/Timket where priests, deacons and serious devotees by the hundreds dress in colorful and exotic attire and are happy to be photographed. They celebrate and memorialize the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River.
You will visit also the magnificent rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, a UNESCO world heritage site. This group of eleven monolithic and semi-monolithic structures were carved directly in to the stone of mountainside at least 900 years ago.
